Interface Electronics

Kaon provides more than black box systems. We also ensure that our systems operate in their intended context. As such, we have built up a considerable wealth of interfacing knowledge that can be applied to the systems we deliver, whether Open Architectures or bespoke interfaces.

Our practice is to fully understand interfaces and develop the appropriate test harnesses such that we can ensure interfaces work first time. This reduces valuable asset down time when system integration occurs.

COTS Philosophy

Our philosophy towards electronic interfacing is to use COTS technology products and only design bespoke electronics where absolutely essential, thus minimising the risks and costs.
